Black Widow Moves to November, Pushes Eternals to February

In not entirely surprising news, Disney is starting to claim some of the shifting release calendar real estate in 2020 and 2021. Chief among its biggest moves is the revelation that the Mouse House has pushed Black Widow from its previous May 6 launch date to Nov. 6. Artemis Fowl Movie to Debut on Disney+

Artemis Fowl is the latest Hollywood film to have its planned rollout changed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney announced today that the adaptation based on the bestselling Eoin Colfer kids fantasy series would be happening not in cinemas, as planned, but on Disney+. Universal Pictures has pushed back the release of its Candyman remake/reboot from June 12 to September 25 of this year, according to Variety. Candyman was actually one of the last holdouts on Universal’s upcoming slate.
