Fallout TV Series Coming to Amazon from Westworld Creators

Amazon Studios and Bethesda have announced a Fallout TV series. The series comes from Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. It will be produced by Kilter Films. The studios first revealed the project with a cryptic teaser on Twitter before Deadline reported the details.

Check out the teaser for yourself:

No plot details were revealed during the announcement, so it’s unclear whether this TV series will be a straight adaptation of one of the games or a new story set in the Fallout universe. The game series has set a precedence for more of an anthology approach — each installment released thus far has introduced a new story, setting, and character — so it’s possible the TV series will follow the same approach. That said, we wouldn’t mind seeing the Capital Wasteland show up on the TV series.

Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time,” said Kilter Films’ Joy and Nolan in a statement. “Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”

This is a developing story…
